This meeting will highlight research investigating the basic function of the vestibular system, new research tools to investigate the vestibular system, and emerging treatments for vestibular disorders.

Goal of this Satellite symposium is to bring together scientists who use different methodological approaches for a better understanding of glial functions to ultimately identify glial-specific molecular signals indicative of selected physiological or pathological states or molecular effectors of cell reprogramming, which may support the development of pharmacological/replacement therapies.

An interactive virtual event that will focus on topics and tools in neuroscience that are most relevant to the FENS researcher communities.

This symposium is designed to make the full spectrum of progress in neural circuit evolution accessible to a wide neuroscience audience, to build bridges between experimental, computational and paleobiological research approaches, and to foster the emergence of a comprehensive conceptual framework for studies of neural circuit evolution

We bring together 9 international recognized scientists who are actively developing novel optical imaging techniques, new molecular probes and/or novel analysis methods to investigate brain circuits at different levels.

Participants will get a full picture of the state of the art for Open Hardware microscopy and how systematic access to advanced science tools in education will support and expand the research minds of tomorrow.
